This is a light hearted but serious group dedicated to dreaming, meaning the maintaining of "waking consciousness" in the dream state (lucid dreaming) but without the emphasis on changing the dream elements. This is not a group for "interpretation" of dreams, but any aspect of dreaming may be discussed, including your thoughts and questions about a dream's "meaning". Mostly this is a group for people to share techniques that have been useful in inducing or maintaining awareness and consciousness while within dreams. Herbs (such as calea Zacatechichi), devices (such as the Novadreamer), positions, foods, supplements, visualizations or any combination of these or other functional dream-enhancing techniques will be shared and explored. Meetings may be discussion only, or may include the showing of a topical movie, a reading from a book on the subject, a walk/hike, or possibly even just an evening on the town at local restaurants in the Northampton area where we may casually talk. This group is open to everyone who dreams, who has had a taste of why one might wish to explore being awake in dreams, and genuinely wishes to share and learn "best practices" that help enhance our abilities in this regard.
