Thank you for so patiently helping me with the "simple frock" I am working on it now ... It was a very good session and I learnt a lot the value of two more sets of eyes ... Thank you

And thank you for the patterns! I think that the shift dress will be next on my list. And I definitely have to check out Watney market sometime soon!

Hi, I was so excited about attending this meeting, totally skipped my mind that I hadn't had time to buy a fabric to sew with. Only found this group yesterday. I will have to skip this meeting and purchase a fabric before the next. Where is the best place to buy fabric please? Hobbycraft?

Thank you so much, Barbara. I would usually shop in London or Kent. I have come across this morning, buried in an old storage closet, a bunch of delightful fabrics I can use. I will bring one to the next event. I eagerly look forward to meeting you and the other members of the group.

Rholdah told us about another amazing fabric source in London and Natasha filled me in on fabric shopping in Paris- will have to take larger case than I intended. This is what is great about meeting with other sewers finding out new things and getting advice, be it where to get something or how to do something. Thanks to you both.

I'm not going to be able to come today, my transport has the usual Sunday works going on and will take too long with replacement buses... So i'm going to have to be super good and sew at home today under my own steam and motivation! I MUST finish my skirt today as I need to wear it next weekend.. I will keep you updated with photos!
