We'll all get together at 17:30 (after office hours) at Soho, Kødbyen / The Robocat Office. (Flæsketorvet 68, 1. 1711 København V.)
Google Maps:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=soho+kontorhotel&hl=en&...![]()
We'll try and have the door open, but if you're stuck give Mads Hartmann a call, he'll be the doorman: 31 66 78 75
We'll be having a few informal 10-minute talks:
Pete Lacey will be speaking about Fireworks
Alex Carabi will be doing a talk on the value and power of joining forces with other creatives
Martin LeBlanc will be talking about his startup IconFinder and the things he has learned from building it
BYOB. After that it's mingle time with a few beers - if people are up for it we might move the party to a local bar afterwards. Also you don't have to be a designer to participate, it's casual and for everyone interested.

Talk about this Meetup
Thank you all for showing up this friday! What a fun meetup :-)
Just to add a bit of structure to all this networking, I would like to create a shared list of your dribbble usernames, contact info and if you're doing freelance work.
I have created a shared Google Doc that everybody can edit:

Thanks!
Posted by Martin LeBlanc Eigtved April 23, 2012Great idea Martin. Maybe there should be a column called "skills" ?
Posted by Donna Lund Jensen April 23, 2012Maybe add "what city are you from" to the list?
Posted by Michael Christensen June 25Thanks to everyone who showed up! I think the talks format was a great experience, and definitely something we could carry on to the next meet up. See you guys next time!
Posted by Michael Flarup April 21, 2012Thanks guys for a fun meetup! I agree that the talks were a great format--keep 'em coming :) I hope to see y'all again.
Posted by Erica Ánjali Goodwin April 22, 2012Awesome meetup guys, total success! Great seeing a lot of new faces, hope everyone had a blast, as we did: https://twitter.com/#!/cabgf...
Esp. thx to Martin, Alex and Pete for talks.
Take care, and let's meet again soon!
Posted by Casper Klenz-Kitenge April 21, 2012@Flarup where is todays final icon? I am not coming before it´s released! ;)
Posted by Marcus Weyreuther April 20, 2012It's up http://drbl.in/dMlJ
:D
Posted by Michael Flarup April 21, 2012Gutted I had to pull out at the last minute. Have a good'n and see you all next time.
Posted by James Bonham April 20, 2012This is it guys, Here's some final info.
Address: http://maps.google.com/maps...
I'll see if i can stick something in the door(s) but if you can get in or can't find us, Mads Hartmann will be your point of contact - give him a call: 31 66 78 75
Posted by Michael Flarup April 20, 2012To the presenters: We're going to try and squat one of the big meeting rooms that should have a projector - but it's a VGA connection, so be sure to bring a converter if you want to hook up your mac.
Posted by Michael Flarup April 20, 2012Mine has turned out to be a more open discussion about tools and process (due to lack of time) rather than specifically singling out Fireworks, so everyone can participate (thus removing attention from me :D)
Posted by Pete Lacey April 20, 2012AWESOME to see many attendees! Really looking forward to tomorrow :)
Posted by Casper Klenz-Kitenge April 19, 2012Great initiative - really looking forward to meeting some Danish dribbblers and getting to know you all!
Posted by Morten Christoffersen April 20, 2012will the talks be in english? I happen to be in copenhagen for the weekend, might be nice to meet some danish dribbblers right?
Posted by Maarten Hoogvliet April 17, 2012No Rød Grød med Fløde?
Posted by Michael Flarup April 18, 2012Definitely English from me too ;)
Posted by Alex Carabi April 19, 2012Seeing as there's usually no open bar inside Soho, i suggest that everyone bring their own choice of beverage - so it'll be a BYOB kinda thing. I'll stock up on a few beers but i'm sure there won't be enough for everyone, so do bring some yourself. If you guys want to get in touch with me directly, hit me up on twitter or shoot me an email: [masked]. Looking forward to seeing you guys this Friday!
Posted by Michael Flarup April 15, 2012It's still a fairly crappy beer so if you don't want to abuse your tastebuds you might want to bring your own beers; It's "Krudtugle Pilsner", the cheapest beer in Aldi.
Posted by Mads Hartmann Jensen April 16, 2012I have missed good old Krudtugle beers!
Posted by Martin LeBlanc Eigtved April 16, 2012I was thinking that if anyone wanted to make some noise, a shot or a poster etc. on dribbble/twitter advertising the meet up, that would be cool. Spread the word!
Posted by Michael Flarup April 16, 2012Suggestion: We could do this at Soho / Robocat Office if people are up for something that's not a Bar? That would allow us to do something a bit more organized, like if anyone was interested in doing a small casual presentation? Could be kind of fun to have a few mini "talks" - with beers obviously. Anyone up for that?
Posted by Michael Flarup March 27, 2012Great to see ppl volunteering to present, looking forward to all of it! :)
I don't think I can provide the drinks, but I just heard back from Dan @ dribbble, and they'll be sending us some schweet swaggg - all the more reason to attend this time!!! :D
Posted by Casper Klenz-Kitenge March 28, 2012Awesome news Casper! Nice of Dan to send over swag :D
Posted by Michael Flarup March 28, 2012Guys, I'm thirsty.
Posted by Casper Klenz-Kitenge March 21, 2012Let's get together for beeks and geekery - April 20?
