Drinking w/ Strangers enjoys a cold one at SmithHouse Tap and Grill this Sunday

Dear Strangers,

Last night my West LA friends and I ventured out on our bikes East on Santa Monica Blvd, just past Beverly Glen to this brand new pub called SmithHouse (opened 1.5 weeks ago). The place looked like a really nice British Pub, and Lisa and Mark being Brits didn't want to miss out on their chance to find a new spot as their local hangout.

So we had a seat in the booths, were handed an awesome list of drinks, all chose somewhat exotic beers, and let me tell you, they were all AMAZING, we tried each others and were blown away at their taste. Along with the music, this place was a winner!
The Taps around the bar seemed endless and we were ready to try them all! Then we saw the Taps at the Table...
We were for sure going to come back here. :-)
You may wonder about these... Well, you and your friends can grab one of these tables and pore yourself as much beer as you like and their computers automatically pick up the amt your serving and charge you the same as being served at the bar without the wait!

Next, the menu, a bunch of really creative items, I ordered the Pretzel Fondue...

It was mildly spicy and really tasty especially since the pretzels were so soft.
We ordered dinner for all four of us, the menu was really unique and the waiter knew how to see us on the food describing the SmithHouse Burger as if it was made by a Royal French Chef in the poshest of restaurants - we were all salivating and desperate for food there-after, then the fire-alarm went off - ugh (to be continued). Anyway, needless to say, we ended up cutting our SmithHouse experience short, saddened to have to enjoy that burger some other time. Then I had the great idea today of just hosting a DWS event there so we can all enjoy the food and drinks together.

Today I spoke with the management, they welcomed my offer for all of us to ccome to their venue and offered us drink specials with food specials to be discussed later on. Currently they'll given us all $2.00 off drinks and reserve a large space for us to the left as we walk into the restaurant/bar.

So RSVP today, I'll post more info later this week and I'll see you Sunday for awesome drinks and food at SmithHouse.

Parking

Very easy, as your driving on SMB, right before SmithHouse, pull into the driveway and enjoy Free Valet parking on them. :-)

Surprisingly, we had 105% of our RSVP show up for this event over 4 hours, and I am sure we all had some good times. The drinks and food, especially the SmithHouse Burger, were amazing. The bartenders were pretty quick and gave Randy and I hope about doing another larger event at this venue in the future. I personally met some new friendly people and many regular strangers. It was also fun trying to fugure out Camp Names!
