Drinking with Strangers

DWS LOVES Taco Tuesday at Marix w/ drinks starting at $3.00 :-)

Dear Strangers,

A few weeks ago I was reminded how much I like this place. Once, years ago (2008) we had a DWS mixer at MARIX and it was a lot of fun. The bar isn't huge, but the venue is, the staff is great, food/drinks are cheap and tasty.

If you'd like to join me after work Tuesday evening, that'd be great since I missed seeing everyone for Halloween this year. That said, I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween. Also, my heart goes out to the victims of H. Sandy. Be strong and safe my NY/NJ friends.


So the Deals:

-> Taco bar at $1.50 each or $8.95 all-you-can-eat in the dining area
-> Draft beer starting at $3.00
-> Imported Bottles $3.50 and,
-> Margarita's at $4.00!

 

 

FINDING US:

We'll have about half the bar area and outside on the deck according to the managment, DWS signs and wristbands, just say hi to anyone, we are a friendly bunch :-)

PARKING:

Try to walk, bike or take public transportation, MARIX is located on the North End of SM just next to PCH, the valet parking lot fills fast and there is not too much street parking. If you heading over on bikes like me, lemme know, maybe we'll ride over together.

 

Pls Don't Drink and Drive.

    It was a great time from what I remember, the buzz when Obama won the 2nd term was all about and people were mingling and drink up those pitchers of Margarita's like there was no tomorrow :-) Thanks to everyone for coming, it was really good times.
