I am really excited, Halloween is my favorite holiday and this year and we (Randy, Chris and I) have been working hard to make this years party even better than the gr8 party we had last year.

This Saturday, we will be signing a contract with the owners of a castle in Hollywood which overlooks the Hollywood sign on one side and LA on the otherside. (Some of the photos you see of the house were taken by Chris last week during the day and myself in the evening)
Did I mention HUGE place:
Coming up to the guard tower:
It is one of the coolest places I have seen in LA to date! The castle has a huge guard tower, enormous house (which we have almost complete access), a mote that doubles as a pool (which we will pay to have heated) and which drains into a Jacuzzi! There is a drawbridge over the mote which leads to the front door of the castle and much, much more.
a little eery at night, fab for the occasion...
Did I mention that the lower level of the castle has a multi-level dance floor with disco lights and here is one of the greatest selling points: we have contacted our famous friend Richard Blade to DJ for us (Richard Blade is a staple here in LA, spinning alternative and fun 80?s dance music for like 30 years, being on MTV, weekly top 40 count downs, and now you can hear him every weekday on Serious Radio Channel 22 ? plus he?s a really nice guy.
Partying again with Richard Blade (Pictures from our Sping 2007 Hollywood Hills House Party):
and we'll be dancing in this real disco down the spiral staircase...
There is much more I will post, but the point of this email is to inform you that we will only sell 600 tickets between the three groups (Drinking with Strangers, Dive Bar Adventures and No Flakes). That means only 200 spaces for the over 2100 DWSers. This will be a private event, Prepaid RSVPs only, no sales at the gate.
View from the outside walkways from the disco...
Here are the basics to forward to your friends:
This will be a charity event; Drinking with Strangers will donate all proceeds to the Los Angeles based, ?Teen Impact
? which is a program at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for teens and young that have or once had cancer or a blood disease.

- About 6 twenty-five person shuttle busses will be free, transporting you to and from the party house from parking lots near the estate (to be listed)
-Food will also be at the house ? to be figured out later
I am forwarding this to you today, so you can get excited and talk to your friends (or forward this) now and be prepared for the day it is posted (likely 6AM this coming Monday morning).
I hope and expect this will sell out quickly, so let your friends let you know how many tickets to secure on Monday so you don?t miss out, and I look forward to seeing you all Sexy?d out this Halloween!
This expensive event is solely organized by your meetup leaders, Chris, Randy and myself (Kenway) for you all to come and have a great Halloween Celebration the Meetup way :-)
Please be aware that the cost of this party is in no way for any personal profits or gain by DWS. The expenses are astronomical for a meetup event. FYI ? your $35. to $40. pp goes toward the rental of the estate and the shuttle services, which together equal an estimated $12G's, then add the costs for the professional/celebrity DJ, security, insurance, food, alcohol, damage deposit, pool heating, cleaning crew and more, its just ?crazy? But worth it!
