Meet, show, learn, experiment.

The Drone Club - bring your UAVs and curiosity to Electron Workshop. If you're feeling confident and would like to speak about your interesting project, please get in contact.

This month there will be a talk on FPV and general UAV lessons learned over 12 months.

The Drone Club is open to all - beginner and expert, and does not necessarily only include multicopter interests.

Anyone interested in a flying meetup, a couple of us will be meeting tomorrow (Sunday 14th) at 2pm at Royal Park, Park St Parkville, in the parking area between Ransford and Ryder Ovals -
Its a big area with a good combination of obstacles and open areas. An old video of me flying there can be seen at
If theres too many people/sports activities there, we'll move to the carpark of the State Netball & Hockey Centre on Brens Drive Parkville

Dose anyone have a DJI phantom? I'm looking at buying a phantom vision 2 plus however I'm new to drones and would love chat with someone who has a DJI and hopefully see one in action.

I just noticed we'd hit the 35 person limit on this meetup - I've increased it to 50. Can we hit it?

Hi I like to meet you guys. I have been making films in remote regions and would like to see how to use drones more for nature / wildlife films.

Samples can be seen on my website or at the Kino as part of the Environmental Film festival Melbourne this friday sep 5

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
