Multicopter/Drone Lab

The lab will be open every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month and for other TBD events.

Bring any project in any stage or condition that you'd like to work on and/or share. We'll do a show and tell and show some footage.

We have several donated rigs that we can learn from, build, fly and repair.

We will plan some projects to work on as a group.

We'll also be finalizing the group build/classes kits and begin taking orders.

We'll hopefully have some speakers at the next lab.

Show up at 7pm there was about 10-13 people already there. Stood around foe 20mins to see what the format was. In those 20 mins not one person acknowledged me or even had eye contact. Almost like I was in the wrong place but since everyone had quads with them I doubt it.

Everyone there was discussing drones, technical issues or designs. Was there a particular topic you wanted to discuss? There were 30+ people who you could have interacted with and gotten some good conversation going. Next time just look for me if you want to chat and I'll help you get more involved.

Sincere apologies if it was a bit confusing. There was a bit of a snafu since the robotics group double booked the space for some odd reason. We've had a long standing meeting scheduled. It's a popular meetup with beginners and experts alike, you just have to ask someone and your off to the races. There was an entire table of experts and newbies alike going back and forth.

There were certainly a lot of people you could interact with and I was helping a guy with a radio issue. Help was certainly available.

The format for the 3rd Tuesday meeting is open discussion and build.

The format for the 1st Tuesday meeting is more speaker technology showcase oriented.

Yes, my son and I experienced the same thing but I started asking questions and became involved.
