Monthly FPV Training and Practice Session

Bring out your FPV equipment whether you're a beginner or advanced pilot. We'll all do some cross training of skills and we can all learn how to fly fun and safe at the same time.

You can also come out to learn about how it works.

Children in the immediate flight area are highly discouraged. We love kids (I have 2), they are just too unpredictable.

Had a great time at the training and practice session. I'm a newbie myself and I spoke with other newbies that wanted to really know how to get started. The Sunday fly days and Tuesday show and tell days are fun but don't really teach the newbie the lingo, the cost, options of building/buying a quad. There is a lot of mingling and hopefully you get to mingle with the right person(s) to get some really useful, guided info. I myself have wasted so much money and time buying the wrong items and building the wrong way that if I had just really known from the beginning, for instance, how to build a small FPV quad, I could have saved myself so much money and grief. Is there any time where the Meetup could have a "class" to maybe go over what FPV is, what the parts are called and what they do, how much they are, how they are put together, which controllers work, etc????? Would appreciate it. So much quad lingo that is not translated for the new guys.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
