If you want to express yourself through rhythm and movement in a safe, fun, energetic environment with others, then this group is for you.
This group is sponsored and facilitated by Village Events, www.villageevents.net . Our intention is to form a community of hand-drummers, rhythm lovers, and dancers in Gwinnett County. Our rhythm and dance circles will always be organized and facilitated in a manner that honors everyone present. Every member is expected to respect each other, the instruments, and the groove we create together. Everyone may drum. Everyone may dance. No experience is required.
Drums and hand percussion are available for your use.
This is a family atmosphere. All children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a participating, attentive parent.
We currently meet once a month in different locations around the county. If you have an idea of a location for an event for this group, please contact us. Everyone's ideas are welcome and encouraged.

This month we move back indoors and return to Unity Church in Suwanee for Grooves of Gratitude. With Thanksgiving coming, it seems appropriate to center our event around gratitude. I am thankful for being a part of this great group of people that come together to share their joy of rhythm and movement. I am grateful for all the wonderful people Ive met since we started this group around 3 years ago. Read more
