I am from Courtenay, BC on Vancouver Island, and I moved to Edmonton in 2003 and have lived here ever since with my spouse and our troop of kitties. I have always been interested in drumming and in meeting people with similar interests.
No, but I will be.
No I don't, my hubby has a bodhran but I don't know how to play it.
I used to play the piano years ago, but haven't in a really long time.
To heal and to help heal.
Loved it... I feel like I did something worthwhile tonight, so I will definitely be coming back next week.
Hey Free Spirit! Hope you can come drum with WHYTE NOISE DRUM CIRCLE in front of the African Village tomorrow, Saturday from noon to about 6. Come any time between those hours if you can make it. Bring your drum and a stool, and help us drum up business for such a worth cause....:)
I just noticed your greeting from last month. Just wanted to say thanks for letting me know about that new group. It is hard to find support with the writing, so I appreciate you sharing the info. Take care!
Hi Sharren, Thanks for thinking about me. I was hoping we could get a creative writing group up and running. See you there-Karen
Thanks Sharon! I will look into it. Have you attended any of these meet up groups yet? If so, have you found them helpful?
Thanks. I appreciate it. Hope you're doing well also. Chris
Hello Sharren and welcome to The Edmonton Art for Healing Group! Intuitive art making will give you an opportunity to turn inward and connect to that part of you that "knows". There is a wisdom in all of us that can give answers to dilemmas that our "thinking self" is sometimes unable to resolve and art is a bridge! I look forward to meeting you!
