Yes, my first meetup was fun, but not near the experience I had in San Fransico. My desire now is to create the biggest drum circle Alberta has ever seen. Heck why not the world!?
Google search back in 2003. After San Francisco, I started on my quest for a drum circle. Edmonton, really did not have much and most were underground. So here is where I landed. After taking over this group, you can see it building into a vision.
I have a set of kids Remo Bongos, Pearl Bongos, LP Aspire Congas and my first eva drum a Remo Doumbek! At heart I'm a percussionist. So I also have a juice harp, shakers and tambourines.
Yes, I have a 12 string guitar, a classical guitar, an electric guitar and now I have 6 string from Art&Lutherie. Best guitars for the money. I love to play everything. Tambourines, shakers, cultural instruments, keyboards, harmonica, juice harp.
To better all my musical talents. To meet other musicians and learn from them. To connect my spirituality with music. My goals are maturing nicely. Check out this article on our drum circle and my visions for it: http://bentrem.sycks.net/kevin
Sawubona! Been a member pretty much since the group started in 2003. Love life, the universe and everything; especially drum circles. New beats, meditation and healing through sharing in rhythm is my passion. If you see me, do introduce yourself!
We rock! Let's get more attendance at the outdoor circle though. Summer seems to have slipped everyone into all those bazillion other festivals.
