Moonlight Drum Circle

Come on out to the majestic mountains, star-filled skies, cool air, and enjoy a night of drumming, dancing, & great people. Bring your light sticks, glow hulas, shakers, bells, didges, flutes etc. We'd love to have you even if you just want to dance. If you need some gear, you can get anything at 10% off at The Folk Shop by mentioning you are a member of "Moonlight Drum Circle":

Enter the park and drive 2 miles to the end where the trailhead parking lot is located. Walk 50 yards towards the mountains into the sandy wash along the Romero Canyon Trail. Listen for drums! See http://azstateparks.c...
-Bring a chair and water and a flashlight
-There are restrooms in the parking lot.
-Since we are playing in the sand, some people find it helpful to bring a board/tile/book to rest their drum on.
-Park rules prohibit fires and alcohol no wonder!

P.S. We are now on schedule for the 3rd Sunday of every month! I can't always make it but come on out & extend some warmth to your fellow drummers & celebrate another day in paradise!

Drum on!

The Great Wash beckoned us with her beauty. The drumming started. A bright red cardinal stood by with a fledgling flappling his wings at his Dad for more food.We stopped to admire the birds and the mother and another sibling showed up. This was the first time I have seen a whole cardinal family together. We resumed playing. The bats danced and swirled in the distance. The sunset was aglow against the clouds leaving tangerine streaks in the sky. The moon started to shine brightly around the mountain top, ultimataly revealing her full glory to us as we drummed on in great Wonder at these magnificent gifts of Soul and Nature. Intertwined.
