Brian Neu is an IT veteran with roots in writing PERL CGI shopping cart scripts on SGI IRIX when Netscape Navigator 1.1 was still in beta, and 128k ISDN was the Ferrari of Internet lines. Since then he has expanded his expertise as a systems administrator in Linux & Windows, and as a PHP programmer using the MVC framework Mohavi, which forked into the Agavi and Symfony frameworks.
Brian started using Drupal 6 in 2010 and now Drupal 7, performing migrations, performance tuning, automated updates, security enforcement, and multi SDLC environment migration scripts utilizing drush and his long history of LAMP experience. He recently started working with Drupal 8. For tonight's program he will discuss "Drupal 8 Themes" with the new twig template engine, as well as an under-the-hood look at how Drupal works under Symfony.
Brian is the founder and COO at Advanced Open Systems, an Atlanta-based technology services company founded in 2006 specializing in secure LAMP and WAMP architectures.
This will be a great followup to the Drupal 8 intro program presented by SteveBurge in August. See the video here: https://vimeo.com/73701398.
