Hi - Hallo Drupal sounds more what I need, but I can't easily block out two days in a row so could this be spread over 4 half days maybe one a week or fortnight? I agree with Tim - this time of year is hard to not get a clash. I have marked my RSVP as not attending for both those reasons (suitability, timing) but otherwise v.interested.

Hi jack you can come to any of the two days because the content will be the same for both days

thanks also for the initiative reagan. I think if anything there's been an issue of timing. not sure how this is for others, but at this end it's the probably the busiest time workwise of the year. Drupal South has been well attended in part i think because it's in the new year - a quietish time for many. So please don't give up on this.

Is this still going ahead? I'll be busy friday 23rd and sat 24th morning, but will come if I can. Thanks for the energy getting this going anyway.

That's great, and so it's all day Friday from 10 am, and Saturday morning from 10am to 3.30pm?

If so I won't be able to come, but I hope you get enough people, and I really hope you do this again!

Yes depending on how it goes I would do it again

The ideas in the previous post seem good to me. As a beginner I'd like to hear helpful tips on setting up and instigating a site, potential pit falls, best practice on installation and setup (but non-pedantic to keep things moving quickly and interesting), and a good model or overview of this initial process. Contracting tips and career advice would also be helpful and interesting.

Hi Everyone, I'm talking to Dman about what if anything Sparks could do for a session, time is tight right now but we''ll have more time to think next week. His suggestion if we're targeting people new to the industry was a workshop around good practices whe you're working in a team, what an employer/client is really looking for and how to plan and work on your career as a drupaller. Thoughts?

    Hi Guys

I would like to throw a few ideas out there for sessions, I was thinking on doing one on the zen theme but not sure yet. I would also love to see one on drupal commerce, drupal for beginners, a session on responsive design, maybe a top 20 modules session...etc. There are so many to choose from so if you think you can present one, dont hesitate to throw your hat in the ring and if there is something that you would like to present on but its not on the list, let me know. This is an open event so all ideas welcome

Hi Reagan, I could maybe help out with a venue. LMK if you're free to talk soon - ie before the next Drupal meetup.

Reagan; Fantastic! Do you have a venue already? What times will it be? Here it states 10pm, but I guess that is a typo? One day?

If you can't come to Wednesday's meetup, let's arrange another time to chat. I have done this a couple of times before and have some resources that will help.

Hey Bevan I will try my best to come to the meetup on wednesday because I would like to participate in the discussions. The time is 10am lol it was a typo. I am thinking about having it at AUT university but I am still working on that avenue. If I dont come on wednesday I would really like catching up some other time to get some ideas
