I felt some of the films were inappropriate for children. Especially the one with the 2 people n bed without a condom.

    December 16, 2013

    • Kyle W

I understand your concern and next year we are going to segregate anything that might be inappropriate for younger viewers into a special block so parents can remove their children at that time. We learn, or try at least. Though I will say that in the commercial there wasn't anything graphic or explicit... nothing that you might not see on a Viagra commercial or on a sitcom. And they did have condoms... that's what was delivered. :-) But again, your concern is noted and next year we will be sure to have a separate block for mature audiences.

For those who want to relive (or missed) the films from the Fan Film Festival, many of them are now available on YouTube. Find them at http://phillydw.weebly.com/films.html . Again, thanks for coming out and sorry to have missed some of you due to the forecasted weather.

Had a great time! The films were really well done, and I enjoyed seeing all the costumes! Would definitely do it again next year!

Thanks to everyone who came out! I realize the weather became less than ideal for getting home, so I really appreciate it.

We raised $[masked] for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! Thanks to everyone for supporting such a great cause!

We had a wonderful time! The films were so entertaining and funny and the acting superb! Very creative bunch of people, even the baby! Mostly rain on the way home, so not too bad of a drive. Kudos to everyone involved! Would live to know how much money was raised for St. Jude's.

I had a great time and am looking forward to doing it again next year.

I had an awesome time. I left a little early, but not early enough! The roads were horrible and in blizzard conditions for most of my way home. I pray everyone else got home safely. It was worth battling the snow, though!

    December 14, 2013

  • Linda J.

My daughter is looking forward to it! Rain or shine we will be there!

Ladies and gentlemen... as of this moment, I am announcing we ARE NOT rescheduling the fan film festival.

The weather people are calling for light snow starting in the morning, but I believe with a little care, it should be safe enough to attend the festival. Latest report shows it will switch over to freezing rain around 9 PM... which should give everyone enough time to get home afterwards.

So drive safe and I hope you'll brave the weather and come on out. It's for a great cause, we'll have great films, great prizes and great fun! (Unfortunately we will not have the full sized TARDIS... hopefully next year!)

    See you there!

    December 13, 2013

    • Paul

My Tardis has traction control. ;)

      December 13, 2013

  • Joni S.

Montgomery County is supposed to get 3-6 inches IF it ends up turning to rain. They also said that if by chance, if it stays snow, accumulation will double to 6-12 inches. So it is not likely I will attend, unless it switches to rain by noon.

    December 13, 2013

  • Kyle W

We will likely NOT be postponing the event. They are calling for snow, but not very much in our area. If this changes drastically, we will let you know. Otherwise, drive safely and give yourself plenty of time to get there... and we'll have a rockin' time! Dress up and try for the costume contest... 3 categories, Best Doctor, Best Companion/Ally and Best Nemesis/Alien. The winners get full weekend passes to Wizard World Philly!

    December 13, 2013

  • Linda J.

We have our tickets, is the event still on? Weather is supposed to be awful. Hope there is a rain date or its still on?? Where can I find out?

    December 12, 2013

    • Kyle W

As of right now we haven't postponed. If we do, I will post the new date on here, on the website, on Facebook and also email all those who purchased tickets. We may not make that decision until late Friday or early Saturday
