Sixth Annual Big Finish Campfire Meetup - Celebrating Doctor Who's 50th!

  • This location is shown only to members

  • It's that time again to tell some Doctor Who stories the old fashioned way - by spoken word (plus music and sound effects)! Join us for our sixth annual Big Finish Doctor Who audio meetup around the campfire!

This year is, of course, a special one, with this being Doctor Who's 50th anniversary month. While we are all waiting for the big television special starring two (or three) New Series Doctors on November 23, Big Finish has produced an anniversary special of their own that was released just a week ago. It stars all of the living Classic Series Doctors (4-8), and I think it has narrated scenes with Doctors 1-3. But I'm not sure, because I have not heard it, and I'm saving it for this Saturday!

November 23rd 1963 proves to be a significant day in the lives of all eight Doctors…

It's the day that Bob Dovie's life is ripped apart…

It's also a day that sets in motion a catastrophic chain of events which forces the first eight incarnations of the Doctor to fight for their very existence. As a mysterious, insidious chaos unfolds within the TARDIS, the barriers of time break apart…

From suburban England through war-torn alien landscapes and into a deadly, artificial dimension, all these Doctors and their companions must struggle against the power of an unfathomable, alien technology.

From the very beginning, it is clear that the Master is somehow involved. By the end, for the Doctors, there may only be darkness.

I will supply the s'mores and drinks, but feel free to bring snacks to share. I've got some outdoor seating, but bring a folding chair if you have one, and dress warmly. See you there!
