I got into Dr. Who when my kids were small; then I continued on my own..... I am able to watch shows many times over and enjoy them every time. I would love to decorate a Dalek, I obey, depending on where the meetup meets.
The guy before Tom Baker, the one with the companion Dr. Elizabeth something. Most of those stories were set in England.
I probably liked the Peter Davison and David Tennant because they are so cute (were so cute). Possibly I preferred the stories with Tom Baker. I did enjoy the Master. I also like the music and have a tape (sadly, who can play tapes any more?) with a selection of Dr. Who music.
Lots of hobbies and interests even outside the worlds of Sci Fi.

Hi Margareta, I did see that but I don't think there was anything wrong with the movie. I've seen it a couple of times over the years and it seems pretty accurate. It's about the radical Islamic movement and talks about what countries they are active in and what is happening there. I've studied the topic a bit and I know some about each of those conflicts. I'm more concerned about how these "moderate" Muslim groups are more offended about movies exposing jihadists than the jihadists themselves.
I am Marta Pongor and my husband Attila and I we both live in Fuquay Varina. Where do you live? My husband I will be happy to get together with you, so you can practice (learn) Hungarian. Please let us know if you stay close to us so we can keep in touch. Send us an e-mail, if you like: [masked]
Welcome to the group Margareta!
I'm going to try the trivia tonight at Tomato Jakes and then probably the pool party next week.
That is the Great Wall. I may have seen that pic of you as a Viking. Are you are a closet Valkyrie? You should add Wagner to your bio.
I went to my first meeting this past Sunday and much to my dismay (my fault) found myself discussing politics the whole time. Then I discovered your intro and changed mine accordingly.
Welcome, Margareta! If you want to post a photo, go to account, manage photos, add profile photo. Then just upload any electronic photo from your computer to the meetup site. Easy! If you don't have a photo in electronic format, you can get someone to scan a print, or you might look at photos on meetup sites form events you have attended in the past and see if you appear in any of the pics. A photo isn't mandatory for this group but it is suggested.
Margareta, would you be able to go see Harry Potter if it were at Southpoint? And what days are best for you? My work schedule is going to be a little crazy, but I'm going to be in Durham on my own during the Thanksgiving holiday. Maybe you and I could go see the movie together later in the week? (I'll be wanting to see it a second time anyway.)
