Over 4 years ago, a meetup of a few gamers wanting to get together to play games on a Nintendo DS met. A social gaming group and quite unique subculture developed which brought on 5 charity gaming tournaments, a world record attempt, a sister group up north, joint meetups with other gaming groups, visits to other equally fun loving groups, pub crawls, fun at Nintendo events/filming and just a shed load of meetups. But even more important of all, it brought together a bunch of people that all shared a common goal, to meet other fun loving people for games on our beloved little console and to share the fun of the DS’s wireless package of joy over an (alcoholic) beverage or three. So it is my absolute pleasure to announce and invite you to our momentous “EPIC 100th DS:London meetup” on Saturday 8th May at the un-official DS:London HQ, Horse and Groom.
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
sounds so good!
