Spooky-Glow Halloween Hike!
Come celebrate Halloween on the trails of Griffith Park as we turn our normal Thursday hike into a Spooky-Glow Halloween hike! Bring glow sticks, bracelets, headbands, or whatever other glowing or blinking accessories you can get your hands on and we'll scare and glow our way around the trails and then through the dark and eerie ruins of the old zoo. And you may even get some tasty treats too!
Feel free to dress up if too if you like. But make sure it's something you can hike around comfortably in. Who knows, you might even get to see Bob in a caveman costume! :-)
Bring water and a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt or jacket if you get chilly easily. Optional accessories include a red, green, or blue beam flashlight, camera, munchies, etc. And dogs are always welcome.
Park in Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round lot #1 and we'll meet on the North side by the paved path that leads down to the Merry-Go-Round. For those of you that aren't familiar with the park, there's a map in the files section showing the location. I'll send my cell number to those coming the night before, so if you can't find us or are running a little late you can call and we'll wait a few minutes for you.
