Hi Sameer, Download successful. Would certainly love to have content on lead generation and lead capture/ conversion. At this point of time any insight would be of great help. I have dropped you a line at your Ethica email ID. A link on this forum would also be great. Its nice to have a person spreading goodwill and hope around. Thanks for being around.

Here it is "Ethica's Reading List for Entrepreneurs" http://bit.ly/EthicaEntrepreneurs - if anyone needs book recommendations or tips for a specific domain (Health, Mindset, Visual Design, Copy Writing, Prospecting, Lead Generation, List Building, Lead Capture, Conversion, PR etc.) drop me a note.

The speakers and topics were definitely commendable. The location was quite convenient.

Yeah - a drop box public link is a great idea. That apart I really enjoyed the content and insight into entrepreneurship. The sound bytes and real life success stories were quite motivational. Now all that remains is to take the action.
I am personally looking for a collaborator (co-founder, a partner of sorts) for a registered company that's already functional in film production - but have great ideas related to the web medium that need a kick-start.
If anyone has the entrepreneurial streak with the right 'attitude' (quote/ unquote Sameer) do drop me a line. at differentangles.net.
I am aggressively raring to go!

Don't see any provision for attachments in this forum. What's the best way to get across the 'Entrepreneurs Reading List' to all attendees?

This was my first Meetup and I hope it to be the first of many. I thought the event was really well organised with Murshed and Mohammed keeping the flow going as well. Just one suggestion, perhaps in the next meetup, we have name tags for participants so as to make networking a little bit easier. Just a thought...

A big thanks to Murshed for inviting me over. Great audience - I enjoyed every bit of it. Some of the things we couldn't cover due to lack of time were branding, writing effective marketing copy, leveraging PR, lead generation, agile development and productivity principles (getting 'in the zone'). While creating www.EthicaInstitute.com we distilled the wisdom of the best gurus (in each trade) and applied their principles in our product and our business model. Should upcoming online businesses be interested, we can do another session where we take you by the hand and steer you away from the stumbling blocks - saving you hours of research and getting you to the market - faster than you'd imagine. I'd love to get your feedback on yesterday's talk (good, bad, ugly) so that I can do a better job next time and I promise to send the 'Entrepreneurs Reading List' to all feedback-providers ;)

Dear Sameer, thanks for the wonderful presentation; all things considered, I have to admit its quite difficult to critique your speech. To be completely honest, moments into the presentation, I thought to myself, "I have no interest in Islamic Finance..." and started considering an exit strategy. Next thing I knew is was clapping at the end of it. Didn't even have to consciously reconsider! Looking forward to that reading list. Hope to see/meet you in the future. Thanks again.

Hi Sameer. I have to agree with Shant when I saw the topic of Islamic Finance but I thoroughly enjoyed your anecdotes. I can tell how Ethica has survived with a marketing department by the way you seamlessly integrated what Ehtica does while also giving an insight and tips on how to start a business. Hope to cross paths with you again in future meetups and events.

Fantastic. Bit disappointed that we were only limited to 3 questions but understood why considering the time restraints.

Two regrets: the first being that this was my first time, second that I didn't get a chance to thank the organizers, speakers and network. Looking forward to the next meet.

    October 1, 2012

Hi Kunjomon, you'll be able to network and hear from startups to learn from their experience .. in addition to learn new stuff from the speakers who would cover interesting topics in technology
