The Long Hall, an elegant old bar on South Great George's Street. The Long Hall is a listed building and retains the design of an old style Dublin bar. As you enter the door you find a long bar with big stools leading a fairly large room at the back with tables surround by chairs. The bar is decorated in old paraphernalia like old muskets and old paintings from exotic climes lit by old style chandeliers. The Long Hall serves a very reliable pint of Guinness from some very reliable bar men and women and all at very affordable prices for the city centre. The Long Hall is one of those traditional pubs where its simplicity is one of its greatest virtues. There is no loud music, strict door policy or intrusive design concept to get in the way of your nights drinking. The Long Hall has become very popular in the last few years with locals looking for a convivial local in the city centre and the bar tends to get packed over the weekend. See you there from 7.30
