Hi! I'm new to the area, and looking to make some friends, because, well, life without friends is no life at all. I'm in the US Army, as an IT Analyst. Currently stationed at Ft. Eustis, and will be until 2014 (got awhile left in the state)
Hampton, VA. About 2 miles from Coliseum Center
I'm up for about anything. Futuristic, High Fantasy, Steampunk, Anime. Name it
I'd be willing to do twice a week if we can work the times out, but it's more reasonable to expect once a week. 6-8 hour sessions on a weekend.
I enjoy roleplay heavy games, I enjoy combat heavy games. Any game where I actually feel the growth of my character, I can get behind. If the story goes nowhere, and my character goes nowhere, I'm just not having fun.
Uh... it's amazing?
I can't wait to meet you and your wife! I am a huge sci-fi fan and LOVE Firefly and Game of Thrones too:)
Hey Michael. Thanks for having me. Yea, go ahead and give me a shout (Nadvyr, in game name) if you do get back into EVE, it might be easier if you know some people there. I am thinking about at least trying out SWTOR when it it comes out.
Hi Michael! We are off to a little bit of a slow start. But you are member number three, which give us three costumers to meet up. What times/days work best for you? I was thinking of a monthly get together to review project we are working on, maybe look at a new technique, etc. With the Ren Faire in October, I am a little on the Ren side, but also working on a close fitting wolf costume for Balticon next spring and always pirate/sf/etc.
Hi, I'm Cynthia. I live in the Pembroke area of Virginia Beach, and am part of Mike Parham's group. I have been playing D&D since First Edition, with forays into Gamma World, Werewolf, Alternity, and Chill. 3.5 tabletop gaming is my favorite, since socialization and having fun are the main points for me. How many gamers are on my side of the water?
Hey, saw your group and thought I'd throw my hat in the ring. Long-time gamer looking to find a new group. Most xp with D&D / Pathfinder, but always interested in trying new stuff. Drop me a line if you're looking for players.
Flux is a game where the rules are constantly changing. We just have the normal version but there are many out there including a Monty Python version :) There are rule cards that when played change the rules of the game, there is a card where the person next to you randomly chooses which card you play or one where you can only have one card in your hand. It is pretty fun and you can play with 2-6 players.
