Announcing a new Meetup for The D?sseldorf Expat Meetup Group!

What: RhineBuzz :: RhineBuzz Funk & Soul Night

When: November 20,[masked]:30 PM

Koyote Club
Rather Strasse[masked] D?sseldorf

Hello folks smile Hope you are all fine!

The Catwalks exhibition at the NRW-Forum finished last weekend after a successful two month run and Caroline from RhineBuzz asked if we could send a message about a new event they wish to invite our members to.

If you are a member of RhineBuzz (though, Facebook or on their mailing list) you may have already read these details so my apologies if you are receiving the same information again. On November 20th RhineBuzz are promoting a funk & soul night with a live act and DJ at the Koyote Club in D?sseldorf. Tickets are limited so Caroline recommends you purchase in advance. These are the details sent by Caroline:

Our Funk & Soul extravaganza with Maurice Allen Lee is happening on November 20th at the Koyote Club

a new intimate private funk and soul club in the Schlachthof on the Rather Strasse 25, 40476 D?sseldorf. There will not only be Maurice Allen Lee, soul man from Oklahoma City, USA, live on stage around 9.30pm, but also all the usual RhineBuzz stuff ... prizes and surprises

The Koyote Club just opened in August and already has the hottest dj's knocking on it's doors. Between Maurice's live sets our dj Roger will be spinning old funk and soul, you will not keep still!

Tickets, ?10 are limited. This is a tiny, private place, so please purchase in advance either by Paypal to [address removed] or email [address removed] for places where you can find Mark and I in the city to pick up tickets personally.

If you turn up without a ticket you may not be able to get in. This is not the Altstadt where you can find a place to go next door - we strongly recommend you buy tickets in advance. Dinesh has also kindly offered to sell tickets for us.

The Koyote Club is in the yard next to Forum Derendorf where the large supermarket Kaufland is. It is not easy to find as it is in a dark yard, the kind of club you may have searched for in the east end of London or New York's Meatpacking district!

As it is a yard there is ample free parking. By train take the 704 to Schlachthof. Enter the yard, the club is down the yard a bit on the left, we will illuminate it, but it is basically a dark entrance up a couple of steps. Of course you will also hear where we are!

If you have any enquiries please email Caroline at [address removed]. More information can be found on their Facebook group or on their website

Wish you all a great week & weekend and look forward to seeing you soon!
