D?sseldorfHello folks! How are you all? I hope you are all enjoying the countdown to Christmas at a Weinachtsmarkt near you!Firstly I would like to give a warm welcome to our new members. If you have just arrived in Germany or been living here for some time and just found our group, welcome to D?sseldorf Expat Meetup! We look forward to meeting you and hope you will enjoy our events and join us as often as you can Secondly I would like to give my heartfelt, sincere thanks to all regular members who take time to join in our events and give a warm welcome to all those new to our group. I have not said this enough in 2009 but I will certainly be saying this more in 2010 - Thank you very much, I really appreciate your support I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.The last meetup of 2009 will be 17th December, 8pm at O'Reillys Irish Bar on Marktplatz. You will find us inside, top floor by the bar. I hope you can join us, many members will be travelling home for Christmas soon after so it will be a great opportunity for you to wish friends you have found through this meetup a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year If this is your first expat meetup you may be a bit unsure what to do. Relax - these events are easy to join, there are no rules and it is free! Get yourself a drink and introduce yourself to anyone in the group and explain that you are new to D?sseldorf. We hope to help you feel settled here!If you still require help then myself and two colleagues will be happy to assist you :) In the picture above are Vessy and Pedro, both members and living in D?sseldorf for some time:Dinesh (picture not shown) - British, working in Germany for 3 years. Software developer, based in Duisburg.Vessy - from Bulgaria, arrived in Germany to study.
