Dear all, I know I said I won't send mails to the mailing list anymore and inform you about interesting upcoming events by putting them on my profile or my Facebook page instead so that you are not bothered by getting too many mails. But this is an exception SINCE I WANT TO WISH ALL OF YOU HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I wish you a very merry Christmas as well as all the best for the coming year, good luck, health and joyful moments. I also hope you see the ones of your whom I already know again and meet the others as well at one of the upcoming meetups as well as maybe at other occasions. We will spend Christmas with my parents and New Year's Eve here in Cologne; we will probably first go to a pub and then to see the fireworks at the Rhine. As for holiday plans, we will spent 2 weeks at the W?rthersee in the South of Austria end of June / beginning of July and the last week of August there is the annual meeting for people with ( or who like ) folding cayaks at the Lake of Constance, see http://www.beepwo... and we will stay a few days longer. This meeting is, by the way, probably just right for the ones who like to try out cayaking, but have never done it before, since at the place where we'll be staying the lake is not very dangerous, the water will have bathing temperatures, and it shall be possible to borrow a boat either from one of the participants or the canoeing club. There will also be a big tour of my favourite band New Model Army ( http://www.newmod... )because of their 30th anniversary and I will certainly go to see the one or other gig, and I always like to combine it with a bit of sightseeing and getting to know other cities and areas. So I am thinking of joining the Arnhem gig and visit the famous Burger's Zoo at this occasion. If anyone of you wants to join me / us to the one or other holiday, you are always welcome. I enclose a video which I consider somehow typical for German Christmas: All the best! Astrid -- Preisknaller: GMX DSL Flatrate f?r nur 16,99 Euro/mtl.! http://portal.gmx...
