Düsseldorf Walking Tour in German: Rath und Aaper Wald

  • Sep 29, 2013 · 11:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

As announced, there will also be tours in German: And this is the first one! If you need some help with your German: NO PROBLEM! And there will be explanations in English as well.

General Information: Walking & Hiking Tours in and around Düsseldorf

Are you interested to learn more about Düsseldorf's countryside or the surrounding areas? We do walking tours of approx. 2,5 to 4 hours plus visit of a café, restaurant, snack bar or brewery. And how about having a picpic in the summer season?

To cover our costs for organization we ask for a small contribution of 2,50 € per person payable in cash at the beginning of the tour.

You have to be at the meeting point on time! There is no possibility to consider latecomers!Starting points and terminal points/final destinations are not always identical! (Important, if you decide to come by bicycle or car)

Please wear sturdy shoes and bring drinks, food and whatever you need for the tour, for example raincoat or umbrella. There might be no shops on the way!

Ok I think there was a confusion because I though the starting point was in Dusseldorf city as pointed in the Map, but if it is in the train station outside the city is a bit late for me to join I guess

What a pity, Rocio. I have no idea how the map got there. I never set it up / included a map.

Hihi, my bike broke down on the way to the meetingpoint. Did not have any number to call and let you know. When I arrived, some minutes late, no one was there anymore. What a pity. Enjoy the tour.

    Dear all,
We are expecting beautiful weather on Sunday. If enough participants are interested there is the chance to continue our walk after the brunch/lunch break in the forest, walk towards Grafenberger Wald and visit the game park (Wildpark) with deer, wild boar and other animals.

BTW, there is no entrance fee to the game park!
