Like last year we will attend mdevcon 2013. And we are happy to announce that two DutchAUGers will be speaking at mdevcon 2013. Wiebe Elsinga will talk about Building Apps for Google TV and Paul Lammertsma will tell you all about how easy it is to use Custom Components in Android.
Where droidconNL is focussed on Android mdevcon opens the doors a little wider and welcomes developers working in the mobile industry in general. This year mdevcon is a two day event with a tutorial day on day 1, March 14th (Note: This is in the RAI Elicium, not in the Tuschinski Theater!) and a conference day on day 2, March 15th. Read all about the schedule here. If you are attending the conference day as well please RSVP yes here, so we can meetup on the conference day!
Please note: This conference is not free. RSVP-ing here does not allow you a free pass into mdevcon 2013. If you want to attend you can buy your ticket here.
The conference is by mobile developers, for mobile developers. We have two days with multiple tracks, designed in such a way that whether you’re an android, iOS or other mobile platform developer, there’s always at least one session that should be of interest. The schedule contains many industry expert and can be found here. The venue is epic, it’s the 1920′s classic Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam. We expect around 275 attendees.
Mdevcon is targeted at developers working with mobile technology. There will be talks targeted at a specific platform and talks of a more platform independent nature. We welcome independent developers, freelancers and developers working for a company – It doesn’t matter who you are or where you work, if you work with mobile technology you’ll enjoy this conference.
