In this workshop we will cover Bluetooth Low Energy. It's required that you bring your own Android device that supports the new Bluetooth Low Energy stack (Android 4.3 and up, Bluetooth 4.0). First we will explain Bluetooth Low Energy and its abilities. We will also explain how to discover and identify individual iBeacons.
After that, we will proceed with the Gatt Profile. You will learn how to inspect various Gatt Services and how to read Characteristics. During the course of this workshop we will make sure that there are plenty BLE devices available on site to experiment with.
Experienced Android developers are present to help you with the exercises or answer any questions you might have about Android/ BLE. Coffee / tea, sodas, snacks and a pasta or pizza dinner are included in the price.
