Hall Point Sunset Hike

Afternoon/After work hike.  If the weather is bad, I'll cancel- but right now looks like it could be a nice day to enjoy a beautiful view. Moderate or fast pace, depends on company.

It is about 1.5 miles each way and[masked] elevation gain. We start from a wide spot in the road near Change Creek, which is off exit 38, then up an un-maintained trail, a short distance east on the Iron Horse Trail and then up up up along the lovely Change Creek Trail to Hall Point. Hall Point should have a great view, but I've never managed to be there when it wasn't cloudy. We'll also stop at the ridge line and take the short trail there to enjoy the view on top of the rock walls. Let's enjoy the sunset at one of the two viewpoints. Bring a flashlight or headlamp as it will be dark on the descent.

Nice alternative to Rattlesnake Ledge and PooPoo Point. Thanks for organizing Selena.

Selena want to meet us at exit 18 now that Denise will not be joining us? If so, take exit 18 bear right, at the light turn right, go down the hill and park in the dirt lot on the left. We are in a blue Subaru or call us[masked]

Selena - how about if we (Bent and I) meet you on the off ramp of exit 38 since we live in Issaquah and don't want to backtrack? Bent will be signing up shortly.

Sounds perfect. Just pull into the first little spot there on the south side of I-90 and you can follow me to the "trailhead".

I'm going to Val's Ropes and Avalanches thing so I can be an organizer.

We should be back in time for that if you want to do both. I'd bet this hike will take 45-60 minutes each way.
