Scrambling is more interesting than hiking on a trail in the woods. Snow mountaineering is great, especially when you get to the top and enjoy the views, and the feeling to have accomplished your set goal.
Summer: Adams, Shasta, Baker, Glacier, Hood, Stuart, Index, Baring, Larrabee, DragonTail, Chair, SnowKing, Sahale, SnowFieldPeak, 3 Finger, Whitehorse, and many European Peaks Winter: Index, Barring, Vesper, Snoqualmie, McClellan, 3 Finger, Winchester, Granite, Bandera, SilverPeak,
Extensive (Asian, Europe, N&S America) and would like to do much more with the right people! Would be nice to go back to K2, or Nepal, Patagonia, Tibet, etc...
This mountain turtle has a passion for the outdoors &"PEAKS Adventures":I hike, snow-hike mountaineer, off trail, little rock climbing, scramble, snowshoe, ski, sail, fly. Married, looking for more active friends that are not too fast to enjoy it
Hallo Val, Danke für die Einladung, aber ich wohne nicht in Seattle. Vielleicht trifft man sich ja mal bei einem German Meetup in Bellevue! :-)
Hi Val ,
i like peaks meetup group and i am a avid mountaineer but need company to climb peaks . i see that there are never RSVP options in peaks meetup events and even when there is only 1 organizer the RSVP is on waiting list , is this intentional ? how can i ensure that i can join the event ?
Hello Val, How are you? I just got back from Nepal and trying to sign up some of the hike could not get through? Please let me know, how I can sign back and join some of the winter hike or, climb! Thank you.
Hi Val - New Year's Party looks fun - what is the address? You can email me at [masked] or call [masked] or [masked]. Thanks! - Melanie
Wow. Just wow. You guys have built an *amazing* Meetup Group in just a little over a year. We featured a photo from one of your recent Meetups on the Meetup HQ blog: http://meetupblog.meetup.com/post/253... Congratulations on having put together such an amazing Meetup Group. :) --Tegan, Meetup HQ
Val, what a fabulous idea to have a holiday party! I like a New Year Party but early December is great, too. How about cross posting with Midweek Hiking and Bellevue/Seattle Hiking and Dragon Boating and Spontaneous Seattle, North Forty Hikers and PNW Leisure Hikers... and one or two others. I'll arrange if you okay.
