Hi! I'm in Seattle via Oregon via South Africa. I rock climb, ice climb, hike, backpack, seakayak and pretty much anything outdoors.
I enjoy being in the mountains and challenging myself. I have mountaineering boots, snowshoes, crampons, and an ice axe. I'm ready to be roped up with people I trust.
In, this area, I've done a winter summit of Mount Hood and Mount Adams, summer summit of South Sister twice, St Helens (summer and winter summits), Mount Baker, Brothers and Mount Ellinor. I have my eye on Shuksan, Eldorado, Mount Shasta and the peaks of the Olympics.
I know the climbing areas of Durban, South Africa and Cape Town, South Africa quite well. I've been backpacking pretty much every pass in the South African Drakensberg Mountains (elevation ~10,000 ft). I'm aiming to return to Namibia to climb at Spitzkoppe (big sandstone mountain) and want to do some mountaineering in the Japanese Alps. In the US, I'm planning to visit Joshua Tree sometime, climb at Yosemite and backpack in the Trinity Alps. I just need more leave time!
No, I don't know anybody yet. The group looks well put together, not too big and with similar interests.
Waiver has been signed.
Great group of people
I didn't know you actually climb outdoors. lol. It was nice chatting with you.
Nice meeting you today, Kerri, and getting a little time to chat. Hope to see you on the trail sometime. :-)
Hi Kerri it was a pleasure to meet you at Scott's party, it got kinda busy and I didn't have a chance to say good bye before you left. Stay in touch I had a wonderful time chatting with you at the party:)
Hi Kerri, Nice meeting you at Saul's potluck party. I go kyaking with Saul's group. I love to hike Mount Rainier hikes and Olympic Peninsula hikes. Did you rent a kyak for False Bay South Africa? Do you know the link for Wanda's photos that she took at the party?
Welcome to the group!
