Glacier Travel Course

From: Darren
Sent on: Monday, April 2, 2012 9:58 PM

The Mountaineers has a new class called "Glacier Travel Course" starting later this month. Good for students who are interested in snow skills, glacier travel, crevasse rescue and roping, but are not interested in rock climbing. Up until now, the Mountaineers only offered glacier travel as part of the lengthy basic climbing class.

$200 for members.

More details: http://www.mountainee...

The class is officially only offered to Mountaineers members who are graduates of the alpine scrambling class, sport climbing/intro to Rock climbing or crag climbing. But there may be some room for flexibility.

If you are interested in signing up, let me know. I have Mark Scheffer’s e-mail (the organizer) for more details and questions about prerequisite.
