Do you feel like balancing life between your hectic work schedule and raising your children makes it difficult to find time to breathe?  On top of it all, would you still like to get out and have fun with the kids? Well, here is your chance to fulfill that desire and meet other Single Parents in your area who can relate to you and your lifestyle! This is YOUR time to get out and meet other single parents and their kids, make new friends, share your experiences, and have fun in the process. If you are a single working parent and live in the East Bay, then THIS group is for YOU! The goal is to organize events around your busy work schedule. We'll stick mainly to fun evening and weekend events: play dates for you and your kids, field trips, parents' night out, co-ops for "grown-up time", monthly parent discussions, and anything else that is suggested to make our lives as single parents all the better! The East Bay Single Parents Weekend Adventures group holds activies all over the East Bay, for children of all age groups.

For best results in making community connections, there are several requirements for joining this group. First and foremost, you must be a single parent! If you are attempting to join this group and you are currently married, this is NOT the group for you! We embrace the idea of marriage and are overjoyed when one of our members has gone from a single to married status during their time in our group.  However, if you are married at the time you are considering membership in this group, please refrain from joining our community! Also, all profiles on this site, must be be accompanied by a photo and a brief profile questionnaire within 72 hours of joining.  All members who fail to abide by this rule, will have their profiles deleted immediately. We are very strict about enforcing these rules because after all, our main goal is to create a forum where our members feel both comfortable and safe.

This group is designed to be an outlet and support system for single, working parents and their children. This is also an outlet to discuss the challenges and rewards of single parenthood.
