East Valley Singles / Divorced Parents Group

Welcome to the East Valley Singles / Divorced Parents Group. Even though it says singles, we welcome couples and families who are seeking the same thing as our single folks, a good way to make new friends.

We created this group in January 2007 because we didn't know a single person in Arizona. We moved here from Texas and couldn't find the same comfort we used to enjoy from our large circle of friends we left behind in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

We know from our experience that it is scary to meet up with a new group of people, but joining our Meetup is much easier and safer than trying to meet new people in a local night club. We promise to introduce you to lots of new people and make you feel right at home. Our group is growing fast and we have lots of photo albums that will show you why. In addition to our event photos, you can review every single one of our member's profiles before visiting one of our events. Even if you are shy, you are guaranteed to have fun and meet new friends just like the ones you left at home.

If you would like to try it, simply RSVP to one of our events and stop by for 30 minutes. Our group is pretty large and it should be easy to find some people you'll enjoy hanging out with. There are no costs to join. It is completely free.

We are one of the largest singles and divorced parents group in the East Valley and will soon be the largest group in Phoenix. Join us now. It's FREE and very easy to sign up. Our group has members that range in age from 30 to about 45. A common complaint is that our events don't have enough guys. Last week's pool party had 22 people with 5 guys and 12 girls, plus 5 kids. hehehe. :o)

We plan a lot of cool local events like happy hours, parties, social events, bowling, golf, softball, volleyball, pool, darts, tennis matches, BBQs, and poker parties, which are great places to meet people in a casual, non-invasive environment.

We also like to go on road trips together, such as weekend trips to Vegas, skiing in Colorado, scuba diving in Cozumel, or camping in Arizona's national forests and deserts.

As you know, we are in a growth phase and we have many new members. The best place to learn more about who we are and what we like to do is to review our event photos and member's profile links.

The next step is review the event calendar to see what events we have planned. Simply click on the event, read the event details and then click on the yes radio button in the RSVP box. That's all there is too it.
