I hope you will join me for the following...
This will be a hike around the Lafayette Reservoir "rim" (upper) trail. I would consider this an intermediate-to-advanced hike, due the the hills. (There is a lot of up and down hills.) It is a little over 5 miles around the rim trail, and will probably take around 2 hours (depending how how fast you like to walk).
Because of the distance/time involved, I would advise NOT parking in metered parking, because the meters have a 2 hour max time, and you would probably note make it back in time to avoid getting a ticket. Instead, I would advise either parking in the daily lot, or on one of the side streets near the reservoir.
This hike is great exercise and has some grate views, and I always really enjoy doing it. Hope to see you there.
