Heroku is a Polyglot Cloud Application Platform that makes it easy to deploy Java, Scala, and Play! apps on the cloud. Deployment is as simple as doing a "git push". This session will teach you how to deploy and scale Java, Scala, and Play! apps on Heroku.
Bio:
John Simone is an engineer at Heroku. He helped implement and currently leads the maintenance of Heroku's Java language support. John has been creating software for over 12 years and has had the opportunity to act as either an engineer, architect, or consultant for a number of top innovators.
