All the book clubs I've seen have been for moms or people over 35. I'm 23 and I don't have kids yet...but I still like reading and I'd love to meet other book-lovers around my age in the area!! Fiction or non-fiction, paperback or hardcover, we'll read a new book every two weeks. We'll meet to discuss the books, our lives, and how they relate. Jitterbug Perfume is Tom Robbins' fourth novel, published in 1984. The novel is a self-described epic, with four distinct storylines, one set in 8th century Bohemia and three others in modern day New Orleans, Seattle, and Paris. The Washington Post says, "Jitterbug Perfume has a large and exotic cast of characters, all of whom are interested in immortality and/or perfume... Go see for yourself; you'll have a good time."
