RIDING WITH THE EASTSIDE SPORTBIKERSWhen you ride solo you are solely responsible for yourself and your motorcycle. Group rides require you to take on other responsibilities as well.
- Maneuver your motorcycle safely with other motorcycles.
- Maintain the pace & speed of the group set by the rider leader.
- Ride in a staggered formation.
- Give the proper distance while riding in a staggered or single-file formation.
- Look ahead and anticipate hazards.
- Use the appropriately hand signals.
- Respect for others and their property.
If your not completely comfortable on your bike and/or unable to accomplish these tasks, please wait until your more confident in your abilities. Novice riders should have a few thousand miles of experience before taking part in any group rides, but some riders learn quicker then others so it really comes down to each individual rider.
All our rides are broken down by skill level; Novice (N), Experienced (E) and Advanced (A). This will help you choose the right ride for your skill level so you don’t get bored or overwhelmed on a ride.
