This Meetup is for locavores, foodies, food lovers, vegans, vegetarians, nutritarians, meatatarians, agrarians, environmentalists and everything in between!

Our focus is on eating organic foods grown or raised within 250 km of Burlington.

Gathering friends old and new to visit farmer's markets, attend farm tours and festivals, dine at restaurants featuring local products are just some events we can do. Plan educational and fun excursions as a group. Share knowledge and the fruits of our labour with one another. Trade seeds, plants and recipes. Discuss relevant books. Share meals from each others gardens from the simple to the sublime. Seek out and find as many local organic sources for our food as possible. Encourage store owners to carry more local organic products. Root-cellaring, bee-keeping, year-round gardening, sprouting, preserving and where to find free range local organic beef and chicken...these are just some areas to explore!
