Steak tartare

Does anyone know any place for exceptional steak tartare? I had tried the one in Table 17 and also Yours Truly and liked them both. I want to try some more, any suggestions? Only want to try the good ones though, so that I can learn the flavour and duplicate at home. :-)

Hey Swee, I had a tartare at Batifole once made of horse meat. It was pretty good but I think the tartare I've had in France was probably better. It seems like every time I try it, it tastes different though- even in the same restaurant. Do you have a meat grinder?

If you ever go to Montreal, try Chez Levesque. http://www.chezlevequ...
I never had any exceptional experience in Toronto but I think that Rob is right. The ones in France are much better.

Thanks for the info. :-) Too bad not going to France or Montreal anytime soon.... :(
