CALGARY: Vegan Potluck Picnic at Calgary's FREE Heritage Day Festival

Lets meet on the lawn in front of the main stage of Princess Island Park at Calgary's FREE Heritage Day Festival and have a VEGAN picnic potluck, while enjoying all the FREE entertainment provided by 25 different cultural groups! Downtown street parking is FREE on the Heritage Day Monday holiday.

IMPORTANT!!! Please try and bring something VEGAN (NO meat, fish, dairy, honey nor eggs) to share, so our vegan members can eat everything and wont starve! ;-) Please bring your own plates, glasses & utensils and if possible you own tarp/picnic-blanket. In your RSVP please give everybody an idea as to what you intend to bring so we don't end up with too much of the same things! ;-)

In order to reduce our consumption of trees and paper mess please share your potluck recipes online here: http://tiny.cc/vegrecipes

We need more volunteers to help host this meetup event s plase let us knw if you can help!

I will be a bit late, myself. Was just told that the festivities have been moved to Olympic plaza, but as many will not get a change of venue notification, I believe Atul (this is actually his event, not mine) will go to Princes Island to meet people there, then everyone will meet at Olympic Plaza at noon. Atul's cell is[masked], mine is[masked]

Look for a Green or Blue tarp in front of the main stage, and maybe a Club VEG banner. [masked] is my cell number.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
