Welcome, Austin Eat, Read, Talk Book Club Readers!
I just moved to Round Rock/Austin and left all of my girlfriends and my book club behind in Columbia, Missouri.
So, I wanted to start a new book club here. We'll meet once a month or once every six weeks for dinner or potluck and discuss a favorite bestseller, classic, or non-fiction book.
This is a great way to have some "girl time" once in a while. I hope this will be a place to meet new friends and share a few laughs.

This month we are reading Bill Bryson's book, A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail. I know you will enjoy it! Sometimes this book can be found in the travel section, sometimes it's in the humor section.
We are meeting at Chloe Simmons house this time. And, our food theme/potluck is to bring your favorite junk food (Snickers too!).
