Join us for 3 days at New Brighton Cohousing, a 5 year old community in the eucaplytus groves near Santa Cruz and beaches.  This is the 6th in a series of weekend facilitation training intensives led by Laird Schaub and Betty Didcoct, intentional community veterans and facilitation training professionals. Anyone interested in learning to shared leadership and creating healthy cooperative and consensus based groups is welcome regardless of prior experience or knowledge.  Brush up on your skills or dive in fords-on facilitation, with the community.

LEARNING FOCUS in this weekend will include Delegation: How groups can delegate effectivelyboth to save the group time, get the work done and to develop vibrant communities. During live sessions we will also work on this issue plus aspects of group decision-making when there's lots of differences and potential for conflicts.

There are homework and handouts available before the workshop.

Our hosts will be providing places to sleep for all full students (and auditors as space is available), and meals for all workshop participants. New Brighton members will also provide the grist for the mill --- offering real issues and real time meetings so trainee facilitators can work live (if you choose to) while supported by the trainers and classmates over the course of the weekend.

SCHEDULE: Optional Thursday afternoon 5pm arrival, 6pm Dinner with community and check-in circle at 7 -- newcomers and returnees welcome! First learning sessions and live sessions begin Friday 9am-10pm; Saturday 9am to 6pm with optional dinner out with the group; Sunday, 9am to 6pm.

See the updated flyer at http://www.ebcoho.org/files for details on the rest of the series, learning methods, and opportunities for host communities. Final two weekends will be at Yulupa Cohousing, Nevada City Cohousing, and/or Emerald Earth Sanctuary in Boonville.

PAYMENT arrangements are required in advance to confirm your space. Includes all meals, accomodations, training time, handouts, free time, private consultations with Laird and Betty, and post-workshop written critique/guidance based on your goals. You can be a full trainee or auditor. Normal fee is $400; you get $25 off for being a EBCOHO supporting member (individuals and groups).  We have one special scholarship registration at $350 ($50 off) for a new full trainee. Auditing is also possible for $275, or $250 for EBCOHO supporting members.
