Introduction

Hi there, my name is Gloria and I live in San Francisco. I am a 63-year-old grandmother type who has no grandchildren!! I'm also an artist who has retired from a photography career. I'm very social and like being around people of all ages.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

I have always been interested in the idea of co-housing and I found you on the Internet by googling you.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

For me personally, Co. housing is a chance to have a family. I was raised in foster care homes and I have a beautiful daughter of 43 years. I am 63 years old and enjoy long-term housing. I have much to give to an intentional community.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

I'm very interested in buying for one last place to live my life. I may also be interested in renting. I don't know much about other options at this time.

Where are you most interested in living?

I would like to see some of the Berkeley San Francisco and Oakland co-ops. I love old architecture, but mostly I love being around people. The people make the place. I would love to see Berkeley Co. housing, Oakland Co. housing and San Francisco cohousing.

  • Hi Gloria. Lucky you to be able to live here for such a long time. I don't know how to actually set up a meeting, but maybe June 22nd or 23rd at Starbucks sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. works for you and if not, we can pick some other dates and times. I'm new here..9 months I've been here now. Hope to see you for coffee. I love photography. My home is filled with photos I've taken on my trips. Caryn
