  • Yep, that is the catch with the coupons. They require a minimum paint purchase and air at their field. It is still a great deal. I would use these at Santa Clara or Davis. I don't play at any of the other fields listed. Too bad it's not good for APP.

  • Hi Kevin,

That is a great coupon deal for rental players. Keep in mind that this is only valid at the 8 locations they list and also does not include air or paint.

I've used these coupons before as self equipped as well and they are great. They just require that you buy their paint and air of course.

  • Hi Kevin,

A complete setup consists of the following:

    Marker/Gun
    Goggles/Mask (Thermal Lens type)
    Loader/Hopper
Tank (High Pressure Compressed Air, NO CO2)
Pod Pack/Harness (For carring extra paintballs on the field)

Also, nice to have but not necessary are:
    Paintball Pants
    Paintball Jersey
Protective Pads (Knee/Shin, Elbow/Forearm and Cup)

With that said, you can get started with the 1st 3 items. Someone can probably lend you a tank and pod pack.

  • I Kevin, welcome to the group. All of the fields offer rental equipment which includes everything you'll need for a day of paintball action. Paintballs are usually not included and are an additional fee. If you're looking to get your own equipment, I would first ask you what your budget is. This will determine what you are able to acquire. Ebay is a great source for used equipment, but others in this group have stuff for sale including myself. Please let me know what other questions.
