How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Honestly don't remember: I know people involved in it and have heard a lot of positive things from many sources.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Shared resources, social connections. Fundamentally, just a saner way to live.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

I could see myself involved in any of those but "build": it takes me five hours to screw up mounting a shelf. I'm a special education teacher: some savings, but only moderate income. I'll see how things unfold...

Where are you most interested in living?

East bay. Ideally Oakland or Berkeley.

I've spent much of my adult life in shared housing situations. Currently living in an apartment, but hope to change that in the future. I'm excited to learn more about how co-housing is playing out in my community!
