Honestly don't remember: I know people involved in it and have heard a lot of positive things from many sources.
Shared resources, social connections. Fundamentally, just a saner way to live.
I could see myself involved in any of those but "build": it takes me five hours to screw up mounting a shelf. I'm a special education teacher: some savings, but only moderate income. I'll see how things unfold...
East bay. Ideally Oakland or Berkeley.
I've spent much of my adult life in shared housing situations. Currently living in an apartment, but hope to change that in the future. I'm excited to learn more about how co-housing is playing out in my community!
