How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

I have been looking into cohousing for a while. I first read about in in connection with Davis.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

It means having my own home, but sharing things--equipment or tools, baby-sitting or pet-sitting, sharing some meals, looking after each other to make sure everyone is ok. Socializing when I want to and being able to be alone when I want.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Buy, build or co-create.

Where are you most interested in living?

Alameda, Oakland, toward the Jack London direction, North Oakland. I have a lot of friends in Alameda, so although there are no groups there, I would like to have good access to Alameda.

Hi. I am a 64-year-old woman living in Alamo, and I want to move from my house to something smaller, with a neighborhood feel, but without all the responsibility on me for everything. I have an aging chocolate lab, and a smart-ass 20-lb cat.

What Joan W. is saying about this Meetup Group
