How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

From friends.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

A balance between autonomy and connected community. Sharing and working and laughing together. Learning and patience. Richness. Mutual responsibility and help.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Rent at first, possibly co-own later.

Where are you most interested in living?

I'm not sure. North Oakland, possibly, but I'm open.

Hello - I live in Berkeley, and want to live in community. I would need to rent. I have a private practice in Somatic Experiencing, which is a bio-physiological approach to working with accumulated stress and/or trauma.

Hi Jane, for now it's Thursdays. Might very well be a different day in a few months.

    Hi Jane-
As the writeup states, I will email attendees with the exact address of the Games Night a day or two before the event.

    Hi Jane -
I recently changed the day of the NVC Games Night to Saturday, October 6th. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Jane! What a nice surprise to see you here! I'm wondering what you're experience has been so far looking for co-housing. It's something I've dreamed about for many years. Maybe we could have tea some time. -- Abby Rose, SEP ([masked])

Balance is indeed what creative community is all about, Jane. Did your friend go from GG into cohousing, or some other form of community? Keep an eye on our events calendar for various North Oakland-related happenings: http://www.ebcoho.org/calendar/

Your practice sounds interesting. I had a friend in Mass who was a Body-Mind-Centering practitioner. Any connection?
